Boarding Requirements

BoardingDOGS: We require that all of our canine friends be current on their DHPP, rabies, and bordetella vaccines and be dewormed. This ensures that everyone’s canine companions are protected. Vaccines must be given under the supervision of a veterinarian or we cannot accept them. The bordetella vaccine must have been given within 6 months of their stay with us and they must have been dewormed within a month. Your dog’s monthly heartworm preventative is sufficient. Please have these records available to us no later than your check-in time.

We love letting your dogs get to know each other during playtime, but if they are older than 6 months, they need to be spayed/neutered or they will not be allowed to play with others.

CATS: Our feline friends are required to be current on their rabies and FVRCP(P) vaccines. Proof of vaccination under the supervision of a veterinarian is necessary in order for us to check your pet in, so please have your cat’s records available at that time.

Not current or no records? We are happy to vaccinate your furry friend for you, although an examination may be required. Remember that if your pet is overdue for a vaccine, it is best to have the vaccine done at least 1 week prior to boarding so it has time to take full effect.

MEDICATIONS: Many of the pets that stay with us need medications, and we are happy to make sure your pet gets these medications for an additional charge. All of our boarding staff has been properly trained to give a variety of medications, so feel at ease leaving your pet with us. Please make sure that the medication is in the original bottle with legible directions for use so we can ensure these medications are given correctly.

Please note that we will still charge a medication fee for supplements or medications that have been added into their food.

Due to aggressive tendencies, we do not allow the following breeds to attend daycare or board with us:

  • Staffordshire Bull Terriers
  • American Staffordshire Terrier
  • American Pit Bull Terrier
  • Cane Corso
  • Presa Canario
  • Fila Brasilerio
  • Dogo Argentino
  • Wolf or Wolf Hybrid (we cannot provide any services)

Overnight stays

Our superior boarding facility allows your furry friend to stay in comfort while you are away. It is always kept nice and clean and we are able to provide food, water, blankets, toys, and treats. We provide Science Diet for all of our friends, so if your companion needs a special food or doesn’t do well with a diet change, please provide your own food. Our staff is well trained to look after your pet’s needs, and if they should notice anything unusual, we have a veterinarian on call at all times so the appropriate medical attention can be sought.

Dogs will have the opportunity to mingle with others of their same size and personality in small groups. The large dogs have an outdoor area to romp and play that is equipped with shade and shelter all year round. During the summer they can splash in the pools or cool off under the misters. The smaller dogs have an indoor room to relax and watch movies in with an outdoor area attached so they can go potty and play as they wish. Cats are allowed to roam their room individually and there are plenty of toys and places to hide. Every pet receives one-on-one attention to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible.

Please note that intact dogs over 6 months of age will not be allowed to play with the others.

Daycare

Do you work long hours while your pet stays at home without any interaction? If so, perhaps your friend would like daycare. We provide daycare services for dogs and cats and have half or full day hours available. Want to try it out? We offer your first day free just to see how they do. They receive the same playtime and individual attention as our boarding pets, but you get to take them home at night! Daycare requirements are the same as for boarding.

The little extras

Basic Bath (shampoo only):
This can be added on to any boarding stay for an additional charge, but it is included if they stay at least 3 nights with us.

Bath and Brush:
Includes: shampoo, conditioner, drying, brushing, perfume spray, ear cleaning, and a toe nail trim. This is offered for any pet, even if they are not here for daycare or boarding. Prices vary depending on the size of your pet and hair length. Discounts are offered for those boarding with us for an extended period of time.

Nail trims/anal sac expression:
These can be done on any pet, whether they are here for boarding or not. The price for nail trims may vary based on difficulty.

We will NOT send a dog home dirty, so if they do not qualify for a free basic bath and you have not requested one be done, we will sponge bathe them or rinse them with water only to help clean them up.
