Here at Timpanogos animal hospital we offer state of the art digital radiology. Radiography is one of the most commonly used diagnostic tools in veterinary practice. It provides a large amount of information to the veterinarian by noninvasive and economical means. It does not alter the disease process or cause unacceptable discomfort to the animal. Although radiography is painless, sedation is often desirable in order to reduce anxiety and stress associated with the procedure.

The largest benefit of digital x-rays is the ability to computer-enhance the images, making them larger and clearer. This can be helpful, and essential in making a correct diagnosis.
